South Yorkshire Police Officers were engaged in a short pursuit after a blue Vauxhall Vectra failed to stop for police just after 8.35pm on Sunday evening (15 October), on Brinsworth Road, Treeton.

The car was later recovered just off West Bawtry Road. The occupants of the car fled the area and enquiries remain ongoing to identify the driver and any passengers.
